Sure the world wide web is great, but you, you make us salivate... Yes, we love technology, but not as much as you, you see... But we STILL love technology... Always and forever. Our love is like a flock of doves, flying up to heaven above... always and forever, always and forever... Why do you need us? Why do you love us? Always and forever...

For all you laydeez out there

Ok, so this is kinda useless on this blogspot as all contributors are male but maybe Tasha or Lil or any female browsers of our blog will find this useful.

I especially like the justification of the pattern on the product as a major selling point. Whatever happened to rolled up programmes on the terraces, ehh?

Was it the same spam ad that came up on my other blog? I hope so, it would make me feel less insecure about the fact that mentioning i got naked in a communal bath was followed so quickly by an offer of 'personal development'......

What is it with damn spam?! Bloody stuff gets all over this internet!

I wonder what we'd call it if that revolting canned meat had never been manufactured?

Rufous - I believe you owe me a mars bar as I clicked on it as soon as it was put on there. I just haven't deleted it yet as I wanted everyone else to share in the annoyance. By the way still love your Blot speaking of which
Bush continues to lose the plot.

Keith - I think the whole spam thing comes from the American geeks love affair with all things Monty Python although that might be urban legend.

That's gotta be bobbins, Spam was manufactured way before the Pythons. It deffo has something to do with war but whether it was made for WWII or the Nuclear War that never happened (yet) i'm not sure

SPAM was developed in the 30's with the first can produced in 1937. It's name is an abbreviation of SPiced hAM. Check out www.spam.com if you're not bored already.

errr, i think that Jamie meant the junk emails were named after the Spam sketch. Not that the meat was named after the Pythons.
