Sure the world wide web is great, but you, you make us salivate... Yes, we love technology, but not as much as you, you see... But we STILL love technology... Always and forever. Our love is like a flock of doves, flying up to heaven above... always and forever, always and forever... Why do you need us? Why do you love us? Always and forever...

AAA: apprentice / armstrongs again

But quite frankly they're two of the best shows on tv at the moment, alongside Harry, Earl and Footballer's Wives, so I make no apologies.

Especially as this page actually has very little to do with the content of the shows, and instead explores the inner psyches (surely a tautology, or is there an outer psyche?) of the contestants.

*tap tap* Hello?? McFly???

It's all gone a bit quiet here of late, despite Joe's noble efforts. I feel like I've had my head in a bucket for the last 6 weeks; time to resurface!

Not much new to say except that Hidden is a great movie, Philip Seymour Hoffman is truly stonking in Capote, and having four different innoculations in the space of three days is not a great idea, especially if one is for Yellow Fever.Oh, and I thought The IT Crowd was good.

Most importantly, good luck to The Len Price 3 for their gig at SxSW in Austin on Saturday night. It's gonna be like The White Stripes all over again, I can feel it. They're sharing a bill with Suzanna Hoffs from the Bangles; how Rock 'n' Roll can you get??

"John Goodman?" "Too obvious"

Go go go go check out the new Sky/Simpsons ad at Holy Moly (you have to give it a minute or so to start up). Extremely well done, and much better than that Dominos ad (sell outs!). How ironic - portrayed by real people after a lifetime of being cartoons....

Also, have a quick pog at this blog (also from the HolyMoly mailout). Which reminds me, I must watch the Holiday Special sometime soon......

Escapa!

Check this game out, and say goodbye to the rest of your day. The official blurb says that "if you can survive longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to survive for at least 2 minutes."

I can do 14 seconds......

Questions of the day:

1. If you could blow up the world with the flip of a switch, would you do it?
2. If you could make everybody poor just so you could be rich, would you do it?
3. If you could watch everybody work while you just lay on your back, would you do it?
4. If you could take all that’s left without giving any back, would you do it?
5. If you could make your money and then could give it to everybody, would you do it?
6. If you knew all the answers and you could give them to the masses, would you do it?
7. How brilliant is the ELO-style stomp that is the new Flaming Lips single?!!

8. Where'd everybody go?
