Thanks to all who i managed to have a drink with last thursday after work. Sorry i had to leave early and sorry that Tash couldn't be there. It was great to see you all before we left. You'll all have to wait till next year for photos of our Christmas cuppa at the Ritz but hopefully after my glowing report you'll all be taking loved ones/each other there anyway.

One of my presents from Tasha last Christmas was the AA guidebook to the best places for afternoon tea in Britain. Along with this, she also bough me the voucher to have afternoon tea at the Ritz.

Aha - it all makes sense now. When you get back, shall we do a crazy 2-day road trip taking in many of the recommended tearooms as possible? Hopefully by then I'll have finally got round to visiting the Tea & Coffee Museum here in London and will have some interesting facts to share.
