Sure the world wide web is great, but you, you make us salivate... Yes, we love technology, but not as much as you, you see... But we STILL love technology... Always and forever. Our love is like a flock of doves, flying up to heaven above... always and forever, always and forever... Why do you need us? Why do you love us? Always and forever...

In honour of him setting up his profile....

....here's a pic of Matt. As you'll see, he doesn't have time to post anything at the moment as he's too busy preparing for this weekend's oddest protest, a.k.a Sail8.

Speaking of Sail8, although I can see the symbolism of sailing people from France to England and how it fits into the effort to get the world to convene on Edinburgh, I still can't help thinking that if the sailors can get in on the fun so tenuously, then why can't we claim everything we do this weekend as being part of the Band Aid effort? What about Pub8? Or WatchingTV8? BBQ8? Any volunteers for Crazygolf8?

It's so easy, easy....

Nice work Joe.
Well the funniest thing happened at work. On Monday I arrived at my desk and checked my voice mail. I had one from 10:30pm Saturday night, the number was withheld and I don't recognise the voice. The message went something like this...
NOTE: This message should not be read by anyone who gets easily offended or suffers from a nervous disposition.

Caller: "Listen, Jamie Osborne, you little British f#ck! I've been thinking about what you said the other day and it really pissed me off. I'm gonna see your ass again and do you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna kiss you all over your mutha f#cking body and make l0ve to you like it's the last time I'm alive so I can have that man smell in the morning when you leave.... Toodle!" How random is that?
Anyway here are some pics incase you haven't seen them yet.

The Cats.
The House.
The Last Hurrah.

Oh Yeah. And a little something for you Napoleon fans.

First post ever!!!

Dear reader,

If you're reading this, then the chances are that you're (a) from Medway and (b) a fairly decent person (there are a few of us, despite what any visitor to Chatham High Street might think).
I've set up this page as somewhere that we can all easily keep each other in touch about what we're doing, let everyone knows about anything cool/interesting that happens, and just basically use the web as a way of keeping the entire Medway clique in touch with each other rather than relying on the current ocassional email. Plus we'll be able to leave comments - so for example Jim can tell us all about his life in California, and we can all reply with subtly envious jibes about him liking Tori Amos. By visiting www.blogger.com you can set yourself up with a profile (takes about 2 minutes), I'll then add you to the members list and we'll all be able to post stuff ourselves. I figured now was a good time to do this with a Summer full of adventures coming up, plus I'm hoping Matt and Rob will have some good Glasto photos to share.

As a first post, here's some pics of me and Stu practicing our Crazy Golf skills in north London, in anticipation of the 2005 Gillingham Strand Invitational Open (in association with Duru's), due to take place later this summer (date TBC).
